This picture almost did not happen. My wife, Linda, and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary at a hotel in downtown San Francisco. After 2 failed early morning attempts, I did not want to get out of bed on the the third morning. At 4:30 I convinced myself to get up and try one more time. Boy am I glad I got up!

This image was taken about 20 minutes before sunrise. The fog level was ideal, a partial exposure of the bridge and a clear view of the San Francisco skyline.
