My daughter’s favorite animal is the moose. The goal of this trip to the Grand Tetons in Wyoming was to get the “iconic” shot of the moose in the river eating grass with the mountains in the background. Two days of driving around and no moose to be found. But, on the third morning at Oxbow Bend in the Snake River this scene unfolded as the sun rose from the horizon directly behind me. I still do not have a moose picture, but I am fine with this one instead.
